What is Endodontics?

Endodontics is a dental specialty focused on diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and surrounding structures. The goal is to restore health and preserve natural teeth.

What is an Endodontist?

Endodontists specialize in root canal treatments and other Endodontic procedures. To manage complex cases, Endodontists undergo at least three years of university-based residency training in Switzerland, followed by limiting their practice to Endodontic procedures. Moreover, advanced equipment is used to visualize and treat complex root canal anatomy.
